Overview
21-23 High Street is an unused garage space on a mostly residential street between High Rock Tower Park and Lynn’s Central Business District's local businesses. High Street itself is uphill, with a slight view of downtown from the proposed property, and consists of triple-deckers, a local tire shop, and the non-profit Girls Inc. of Lynn. In partnership with Lynn-based CDC, Latino Support Network (LSN), the proposed site will transform into a new 6-story 25-unit building, creating affordable homes in remarkable proximity to Lynn’s businesses.
The site is a short walk from amenities including Lynn Community Health Center (LCHC), Kipp Academy Lynn), the post office, two pharmacies, Lynn Dental Center, Lynn Arts, the Lynn Interim Station (MBTA), the Harrington Elementary School, and many locally-owned restaurants and shops.
This collaboration with LSN will create great affordable homes for Lynn residents while building the capacity of LSN.
