Lizett Pajuelo

Lizett joined TND in June 2022. A world traveler and global citizen at heart, she has been to 30 countries and lived in 3 continents. Lizett hails from Lima, Peru, but her family relocated to upstate New York when she was 11. She earned her bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Political science at Northeastern University in 2012, where she fell in love with Boston and pursued an MPA in the Netherlands at Leiden University. Lizett discovered her passion for community development in her small community of Millerton, NY, where she volunteered for the local community center for more than 17 years and worked professionally after graduating college. She worked closely assisting immigrant families in accessing needed resources and engaging and preparing teenagers to enter the labor market. Some of Lizett’s favorite hobbies include photography, music, dancing, food, soccer, and learning about new cultures, languages, and history, as well as empowering immigrants around the globe. Lizett is excited to join the team and continue making a positive impact in the community by helping individuals.
