Sharon Fosbury

I found my passion for helping others while volunteering and working with children in the street markets of Quito, Ecuador. Upon returning to the US, I began teaching English to immigrants in and around Boston. I found that I wanted to help beyond the classroom, so I enrolled with Americorps and served at The Neighborhood Developers (TND) in Chelsea, MA.  After my service, I was hired by TND and over the past 10 years at the organization, I and my commitment to housing justice have grown.  As Community Building Director of Strategic Planning and Development, I am continuously striving to shift power, and work with the community to realize the changes they want to see around them.
